Super Sunday At Tullyroan Oval
Racing this weekend with DMC Race Promotions is at Tullyroan Oval on Sunday afternoon (2pm start) . Topping the bill is the 2025 Irish Open Championship for 1300 Stock Cars, alongside Round 4 of World Series NI for National Hot Rods, the Tullyroan Challenge Cup for 2.0 Hot Rods plus Lightning Rods and Thunder Rods. The meeting is kindly sponsored by McKinney Safety Centre of Strabane.

England's Ryan Jordan will be chasing his third Irish Open Championship in succession in the 1300 Stock Cars, where the sparks are sure to fly from a big field of cars. Can he make it an unprecedented three-in-a-row, or will he find himself a marked man? Also in action from England will be World of Shale Champion Jacob Bromley and European and English Champion Curtis Tebbenham. Tebbz has become something of a YouTube superstar with his race reviews and interviews with some of our sport's biggest names, and he will have a huge local following over the weekend. Spedworth aces Darren Terry-Brand, Luke Gordon and Joe Giles will also be in action, whilst British Champion Gary Nicholls and Scottish Champion Jamie Stewart lead the tartan challenge from HRP with Charlie Henry, Josh Machin and Kevin Graham others to watch for.

Of the local stars, World Champion Curtis Greer will be aiming for more glory and he always performs well at Tullyroan. The action will come thick and fast with no prisoners taken, with Matthew Milliken, Josh McKinstry, Gary Freeburn and Craig Bodenham also sure to be in the midst of the drama. Willie Taggart, Jon McQuillan, recent form man Graham Meek, Fionn Donnelly and David Wilson will be others aiming for victory. There should be some outstanding racing from the 1300's with a big field on track.

Portadown ace Glenn Bell will sport the black and white chequered roof of British Champion on his Ginetta for the first time following his big victory last weekend. He will be keen to continue his winning streak with the likes of John Christie, Shane Murray, Adam Maxwell, Derek Martin and the Riordan brothers chasing at his heels. It's Round 4 of World Series NI as others like Derek McMillan, Drew McKeown and Allan Cherry aim to get good points in the bank in the quest to qualify for Ipswich 2026.

The 2.0 Hot Rods contest the Tullyroan Challenge Cup using the reverse grid system, with British Champion Conor Hughes and NI Points Champion Jordan Rochford the big stars to watch. Adam Hylands, Callum Doak, Andy Best and Aaron Stewart, plus meeting sponsor James McKinney, will be others aiming to grab the win.

The Lightning Rods return to Tullyroan Oval for the first time in a few weeks, with the usual suspects set to put on a great show. World Cup holder Mark Corry, European Cup winner and Irish Champion Ross Houston plus NI Points Champ Nigel Jackson will be the ones to watch, alongside Stuart Agnew.

Completing the line up are the Thunder Rods, who are chasing vital points as they close in on the end of their points season and the Irish Championship. James Goldie as always will be the benchmark, but watch out for Joe Largey, Andrew McLean, Jason Darragh and Adam McKinney who represents the meeting sponsors.

The first race blasts off the grid at 2pm, with the meeting kindly sponsored by McKinney Safety Centre www.mckinneysafety.com, Tel: 028 71 886200.
