DMC Race Promotions
Headed up by Davy McCall, a five times World Champion across both the National and 2.0 Hot Rods, DMC Race Promotions have been promoting short oval racing in Northern Ireland since 2003.
Since 2012 we have been racing at the brand new purpose built Tullyroan Oval near Dungannon, one of the finest short oval facilities in the UK. For 2014 Aghadowey Oval in County Londonderry is added to the roster as we expand our operation, yet continuing to bring drivers and fans alike the best Hot Rod, Stock Car and Banger racing on offer in Northern Ireland.

Tullyroan Oval
Tullyroan Oval has long been a vision of our promoter Davy McCall, with an all-new purpose built venue right in what could very easily be called described as "the heart of Ulster oval racing country". This dream came to fruition during 2011/12 with the construction of the superb venue which saw all the classes transfer from his Nuttscorner Oval promotion to the new track. Set just off the M1 motorway, the track is situated just outside the village of Tullyroan, midway between Portadown and Dungannon. It is literally a stone's throw from junction 13 of the M1, one of Northern Ireland's main arterial routes.

DUNGANNON

The new site boasts a superb new banked asphalt
raceway, designed and constructed using computer aided technology and
using all the years of experience that promoter Davy McCall has of UK
oval racing. The huge spectator banking offers superb viewing of the
raceway itself, with excellent toilet facilities and raceview car
parking also available. Plans are in place for even more amenities to
make it one of the top oval venues in the UK over the coming years.
The track is situated 35 miles from capital city
Belfast and its ferry port, which is served by
Stena Line who operate their Superfast Ferries to the all-new Cairnryan
Terminal in Scotland. They also sail to Liverpool on the hugely popular
overnight service.
We are also just over 50 miles from Northern Irelands other major port
of Larne, which is connected to Scotland by
P&O Irish Sea with sailings to and from Cairnryan and Troon.
Many English drivers and fans also prefer to travel via the Holyhead to
Dublin or Dun Laoghaire routes and then drive north, with these again
operated by Stena Line.
For the best prices on ferry crossings, DMC Race Promotions recommend Nutt Travel of Coleraine, Tel: 028 7035 1199 or visit

Belfast International Airport is just over 30 miles from the circuit. It is serviced by many of the low cost airlines from across the UK and Europe including
Easyjet and
Jet2.com.

George Best Belfast City Airport is 40 miles away
on the eastern side of Belfast, and it is served by British Airways,
FlyBe and Aer Lingus once again to almost every region in the UK.

Aghadowey Oval
Aghadowey Oval joined the portfolio of DMC Race Promotions in 2013, when a multi year lease was taken out for it's usage as our second track. Steeped in history dating back to the 1970's, the venue really is the home of oval racing in Ulster. Much of the old track, which last seen mainstream action back at the turn of the millennium, is still in use, but the corners have been widened and reprofiled to suit modern racing. The track view banking is always a popular part of the experience, whilst new toilets have been installed as well as new track lighting too.

Taking top flight oval racing back to Aghadowey Oval should provide a real shot
in the arm for the North West based racers, and hopefully entice many
more from the area to come and take a look at our exciting sport.
