Christine Kerr
We are all deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our much loved staff member Christine, sister of Doris McCall, after a brave and courageous battle with illness.Christine was a bubbly and popular figure around the DMC circuits, the first face everyone met when they arrived at the gate on race day. She was a friend to everyone - drivers, spectators and staff members alike - with her outgoing personality and love for all things racing always shining through.
She was an ardent supporter of all our drivers when they headed off to compete in the major events, and there was no-one more proud when they returned home with championship trophies on a regular basis.
Christine fought her illness bravely, and still attended race meetings when able until recently. She was an inspiration to us all.
We would like to pass on our deepest condolences to her daughter Chandara, her sister Doris and the wider Kerr and McCall families at this difficult time.
Christine’s funeral will take place in St. Saviour’s Parish Church, Craigavon at 1.30pm on Friday 21st March.
