  The Oval Racing Council would like to announce the following amendments to the “Rules of Racing†with regard to the lining up of cars for restarts, and the reinstatement of cars. These amendments are effective immediately, and apply to all formulas.
Restart Order
Cars will be lined up, in preparation for the restart, in the on-track order prevailing prior to the race suspension (yellow flags) or race stoppage (red flags). Any lapped cars in-between those occupying the top six positional places in the race will be sent around the track, in the direction of racing, to the rear of the grid, and will be credited with regaining one lap back in the race. This means that when the race is restarted at least the top six cars will be in positional order on the track without any back-markers in between.
A driver must NOT un-lap themselves unless instructed to by an official. Any driver un-lapping themselves without permission will be liable to exclusion from the restart.
Incorrect Exclusion
The Steward of the Meeting is empowered to re-instate any driver being, in their opinion, incorrectly taken out of the race during a suspension or stoppage. |

 During 2019 the National Bangers competed for the first ever NI Accident Services DMC Race Promotions Entertainers League, which fell the way of Leonard Dunn after a thrilling year long contest. Following Leonard in the standings were Tony Gillespie, Rodney Herron, Stevo McGrath and Steven Bolton.
The Entertainers League saw drivers get points for booking in and turning up, using fresh, rare and painted cars as well as the entertainer of each race and competing in DD's. It has been a great addition to the local National Banger scene and will continue into 2020.
Leonard will receive his trophy at an upcoming meeting as well as a nice cash bonus courtesy of our kind sponsor, Lee Johnston at NI Accident Services. The top five also receive bonus points for the main DMC Points Chart for their achievements. |

 Statement from ORCi:
Following trials with a number of formulas in 2019, the ORC are rolling out the use of Race Receivers to all formulas run on ORC circuits in 2020 with the exception of adult banger formulas (Junior Banger drivers will need to use them).
Race Receivers enable the Steward of the meeting to be in contact with all drivers at all times and has proven to assist with the safe, effective running of a meeting and races and the ORC are hoping that the introduction of these are seen as a major step forward by the Oval Racing Council.
A Race Receiver is an important piece of safety equipment like your helmet and overalls and it will be compulsory for drivers to have a working race receiver during a race – failure to have one will see you not being allowed to race.
Race receivers will be available to purchase from many stadium trackshops up and down the country and they are also available to purchase by mail order from Spedeworth through the link below;
